A Romney – Paul Ticket?

Rumors Abound

by Deborah Kay Corey

As soon as this blogger saw The New York Times article last week on how Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are friends – she knew a Mitt Romney and Ron Paul team was a very real possibility in the works. The possibility of Ron Paul as Mitt Romney’s Vice President is very real – if Mitt Romney is the nominee.

However, rumors have floated that Virginia’s own Bob McDonnell might be a candidate for VP with Mitt Romney as well.

The idea of a Romney/Paul ticket poses a lot of questions on how policy would be handled. Also, the country would see it’s first Libertarian in the Executive Branch – officially. If you haven’t figured out by now that the Federal government is teaming with closet Libertarians, you don’t know Washington, DC.

It should also be noted that another writer here on this site predicted the possibility of a match up with the two men. That post was up on January 13th. Check it out.
